KLS Sand Trap

One of the key features of aluminum mini jet boats is the ability to travel in extremely shallow waters. This harsh environment can cause sand and debris to enter into the cooling system. These blockages will make the engine overheat and can result in engine failure.

In order to prevent this we use a Centrifugal Sand Trap System. The system filters the intake water and catches the sand and debris to prevent it from entering the cooling circuit. Once the debris reservoir is full there is a ¾” outlet on the bottom that allows you to flush the system clean.
